Celebrity resident creates four-day piano festival in Ludlow, Shropshire

A four-day piano festival has been created in Ludlow, Shropshire, by celebrity resident Alistair McGowan.

The event, which starts on 24 May, will feature top classical pianists playing beautiful music, as well as celebrity concerts and events at various locations across the town. The festival is part of a wider fringe festival in June, which includes about 70 events over a fortnight and features appearances by Dame Judi Dench and Jasper Carrott.

The events are expected to bring an economic boost to the local community and attract a national audience.
